Update on Canada Post Strike Impacts
Mail service disruptions are in effect due to the Canada Post strike, which began on Thursday, September 25.
Residents are encouraged to refrain from sending correspondence or payments to the City by mail until postal services resume.
Alternative options include:
- Dropping off items directly at City Hall (10005-102 Street).
- Using a courier service.
- Utilizing the secure drop box to the right of the main entrance at City Hall, accessible after business hours.
Utility Bills Available for Pick-Up October 6, 2025
Residents who typically receive utility bills by mail can pick them up at City Hall starting October 6. Those who receive e-bills by email do not need to pick up their bills. Please note that payment for this bill is due October 31, 2025.
Residents are reminded that timely payments for utility bills or other charges are still required. If you are uncertain about receiving your most recent utility bill, please contact the Utility Billing Department at 780-992-6178.
To avoid future delays, consider:
- Signing up for e-billing to receive utility bills via email.
- Enrolling in pre-authorized payments for automatic withdrawals.
