Wide Mouth Mason to Headline Canada Day 2026 Evening Concert at Legacy Park

Celebrate Canada Day with a powerful night of live Canadian music as legendary roots-rock trio Wide Mouth Mason headlines the Canada Day 2026 evening concert at the Legacy Park Bandshell on Wednesday, July 1, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The free outdoor concert is part of a full day of Canada Day activities.

With a career spanning decades, Wide Mouth Mason is known for their electrifying live performances, deep blues and rock roots, and an extensive catalogue of Canadian hits. The band has toured internationally, shared stages with rock icons such as The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and ZZ Top, and earned multiple gold records. Their dynamic musicianship and high-energy stage presence make them a must-see Canada Day headliner.

The second act of the evening is Sarah Vanderzon, a rising star in the Canadian Americana, folk and country scene. Known for her rich vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and engaging connection with audiences, Vanderzon has quickly gained national attention, including winning the Emerging Artist Showcase at Boots and Hearts Music Festival and signing with Universal Music Canada.

Kicking off the night is The Buckleys. With hundreds of shows between them respectively, The Buckleys will combine forces to showcase their hard-earned stripes and unparalleled musical genius through family-connected harmonies.

Award-winning songwriter T. Buckley has become a staple in the Alberta Roots music scene.  Over a storied 10-year career, he brings flowing melodies and grit on the edge that taps into the pure vein of country soul.

Unapologetically genuine, wry, and soft-hearted - Mariel Buckley has planted her flag firmly as a songwriter who’s in it for the long haul. She aims to find herself squarely on the fringes and exactly where she belongs: singing and writing songs for the underdog.

Great talent right here in your community! And don’t forget, fireworks are just around the corner afterwards at the Rotary Amphitheatre at 10:45 pm!
