A Development Permit is required for all Resident Businesses before obtaining a Business Licence. This permit confirms that your business complies with the City's Land Use Bylaw and is suitable for your location.

• If you're running a business from your home, you must apply for the Home Based Business / Accessory Home Occupation Application Permit before you can get your Business Licence.

• If you're opening a new commercial location or changing the use of an existing space, a New Occupancy / Change of Use Permit is required.
