Digital Economy Program

Free Digital Support For Your Small Business.

When over 95% of businesses in Alberta are small businesses, supporting them in a competitive world is critical. That’s why the City of Fort Saskatchewan has joined the Digital Economy Program, with the University of Alberta as a strategic partner, to offer you and your business an opportunity to transform your online presence for FREE.

Introducing the Digital Economy Program.

This free program is open to small businesses with less than 50 employees who would like to undergo a digital transformation. Perhaps your company needs help with ecommerce, or expanding your web presence or even developing a social media strategy. The Digital Economy Program will equip you with the skills you need to expand your business’s digital reach.

Help is on the way.

To take advantage of this program for your small business, visit yourDEP.ca and complete an application form. You’ll be paired up with a Digital Economy Program Service Squad who will assess your needs and put together a work plan. Then the magic happens.

Applications for the Digital Economy Program are open, and will remain open until March 2023.

To be eligible for the Digital Economy Program, businesses must fit the following criteria:

  • registered in Alberta;
  • zero to 49 employees (this includes self-employed business owners with no employees); and,
  • home-based or commercial business

Apply Today – there are limited spots available and are being filled on a first-come first-served basis.
