The Enchanted Forest is Open
The Enchanted Forest has officially returned, bringing a festive glow to City Hall, the Dow Centennial Centre, and the Shell Theatre. This beloved Fort Saskatchewan tradition features Christmas trees designed and decorated by local organizations and businesses, each one unique and full of personality.
The display runs from November 28, 2025 to January 7, 2026, giving you plenty of time to stop by, explore each location, and enjoy a little holiday magic.

RCMP Open House
Join us for the RCMP Christmas Open House on Friday, December 5 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. Kids can help decorate a police vehicle and enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, and holiday crafts.

Public Hearing Notice
Municipal Development Plan & Roseburn Area Structure Plan Amendments (Bylaws C25-25 and C26-25)
In August 2025, Council directed Administration to update the street-oriented development policies within the City’s Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and the Roseburn Area Structure Plan (ASP). Administration has prepared these amendments to provide clarity for the consideration of street-oriented development along collector and arterial streets. The proposed changes will ensure that street-oriented development is considered on a case-by-case basis to maintain the safety and functionality of the city’s roads.
Proposal details:
Updates to:
- MDP Mobility Policy 8.3.6 (Appendix A – Redlined MDP); and
- Roseburn ASP Transportation Policy 8.3.6 and Land Use Policy 4.5.1.7 (Appendix B - Redlined ASP).
