Grand Opening of Fort Saskatchewan’s New Disc Golf Course – New Date Announced
The City of Fort Saskatchewan is celebrating the official grand opening of its new nine-hole disc golf course at West River’s Edge on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 3:00 pm. Please note this is a new date and time for the event.
Join us at West River’s Edge for a short ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a fun “try disc golf” activity for anyone curious about the sport. No experience or equipment is needed—show up and give it a try. Discs will be provided.
“This new course adds another great way for residents and visitors to get outside and enjoy everything Fort Saskatchewan has to offer,” said Mayor Gale Katchur. “We’re proud to keep expanding our recreational spaces, and we hope the course will encourage people of all ages to stay active and explore our beautiful river valley.”
