River Valley Dr, Fort Saskatchewan
A scenic destination featuring natural areas, event spaces, and opportunities for outdoor activities. Enjoy two outdoor fire pits available to the public, the Fort Lion’s Community Fish Pond (stocked with rainbow trout), Nordic ski trails, walking trails, and a boat launch. The West River’s Edge building can also be rented for private events and gatherings.

Alberta Sport Fishing Regulations apply to this pond. No motorized boats are permitted on the pond. Use at your own risk.
Pryce Alderson Park & Kin Family Spray Park
617 Westpark Dr, Fort Saskatchewan
Home to a popular spray park, accessible playground equipment, and picnic tables. Great for summer fun and group gatherings.
The Spray Park is turned on from May Long Weekend to September Long Weekend from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm (weather permitting - water is not turned on when temperatures drop below 20°).
10701 River Rd, Fort Saskatchewan
Enjoy unbeatable river scenery at this 11-hectare park, perfect for a day trip or overnight camping. Turner Park features sports fields, playgrounds, picnic tables, fire pits, and a beautiful campground run by the Fort Saskatchewan Lions Club. Indoor washrooms are open during summer.

A concrete park designed for skaters, scooters, and BMX riders of all skill levels. Located next to Harbour Pool, it’s perfect for learning new tricks or practicing with friends.
Point Aux Pins Rd, Fort Saskatchewan
A spacious off-leash area for dogs and their owners, featuring natural trails and open space for play and exercise. Open daily from 6:00 am – 11:00 pm.
Interpretive Forest, Fort Saskatchewan
A natural area with walking trails and educational signage, offering opportunities to explore local flora and fauna.
Fort Saskatchewan’s annual Ice Slide is a free winter attraction, open daily during the season. The slide’s location changes each year, rotating between areas northeast of the Fort Heritage Precinct and Peter Ream Park, and West River’s Edge. Bring your own sled and helmet to enjoy the slide, and check out local toboggan hills for even more outdoor fun.
