Our community supports the well-being of residents through strong partnerships and accessible local resources. The programs listed below can help families and individuals of all ages—from youth to seniors—navigate challenges and find the right support for any situation.

FCSS Counselling
The FCSS Counselling Program is an affordable, professional service designed to address short-term counselling needs and resolve client concerns. Confidential support is provided for concerns such as anxiety, depression, loss, marital and relationship issues, stress, family conflict, parenting challenges, self-esteem, and others.

Adult Outreach
The City of Fort Saskatchewan provides guidance, referrals, and advocacy for adults with support needs.
Through this free program, adults can find solutions to their concerns through information and get supportive referrals to community resources that assist with goal planning.

Home Support Services
City of Fort Saskatchewan employees provide practical, in-home support services to residents in order to retain and/or improve quality of life through safe, independent living.
Short- or long-term assistance is provided on a flexible basis, with weekly, biweekly, or monthly visits lasting 1–3 hours each. Service is affordable for those on a fixed income.

Seniors’ Outreach
The Seniors’ Outreach program provides information, referrals, and advocacy to enable seniors to remain as independent as possible while maintaining dignity and quality of life.
Services are free of charge and made accessible through home visits.

Youth Outreach
The Youth Outreach Worker provides free, confidential short-term support to youth aged 6–18 and their families. Support may address emotional, family, school, or social concerns.
The Youth Outreach Worker does not provide psychiatric assessments but helps families access resources, strengthen relationships, and work toward positive goals.
