2026 Canada Day Activities
Celebrate Canada Day with a full day of fun in Fort Saskatchewan! Enjoy the morning parade, car show, and farmers’ market, followed by live entertainment, family-friendly activities in Legacy Park, and evening fireworks. With free admission to the Fort Heritage Precinct and something for all ages, it’s one of the city’s most anticipated annual events.
Canada Day Festival in Legacy Park
After the parade, head to Legacy Park for a full day of traditional and new Canada Day activities. There will be no shortage of fun for festival goers at our 2026 celebrations!
All activities are FREE and will run from 1:00 – 6:00 pm.
Opening Ceremonies
Join us at 1:00 pm for the Opening Ceremonies, featuring a proud Colour Guard presentation by the Royal Canadian Legion, the National Anthem performed by the talented Fort Saskatchewan Community Band, and a warm welcome from the City of Fort Saskatchewan!
Feature activity
Ride the Vibe
Ride the Vibe delivers high-energy freestyle trials performances, with athletes who have performed at major events around the world, from Australia and Malaysia to Canada and China.
Their shows feature impressive technical skill and crowd‑engaging stunts, including balance-point wheelies, rolling nose wheelies, 360 nose wheelies, wall and roof riding, and low backflips.
Show times: 30-minute performances at 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm, and 5:15 pm.

Fort Heritage Precinct
The North West Mounted Police Fort at the Fort Heritage Precinct will be open for FREE from 1:00 – 6:00 pm!
Come by to explore our city’s rich history, interact with interpreters, take in demonstrations of historical skills, partake in activities geared towards children, and learn about Fort Saskatchewan’s essential part in Canada’s rise to nationhood. New to this year, we will be firing the canon behind the North West Mounted Police Fort at 3:30 and 5:00 pm.
