Utilities Pre-Authorized Payment Plan
Simplify your utility payments with Fort Saskatchewan’s Fort Electronic Payment Plan (FEPP). This convenient option automatically withdraws your utility bill amount from your bank account on the due date, helping you stay on track and avoid missed payments. Learn how to enroll and manage your payment preferences.
Monthly utility payments are automatically withdrawn on the last day of each month.
Eligibility
You are eligible for FEPP if:
- Your utility account is paid in full at the time of application.
- You have a chequing account at a financial institution.
Apply for FEPP
Applications are accepted year-round. Complete the FEPP application form to set up pre-authorized payments.
You can also Download the Utility Account FEPP Application and return it by email to utilityclerk@fortsask.ca or dropping them off at City Hall (10005 102 Street).
Please note: A void cheque for a pre-authorized banking form must be attached to each application.
Application forms are also available at City Hall.
Account updates and cancellations
It is your responsibility to inform the Finance Department if you:
- changed your financial institution, or
- sold your property.
Account Cancellation or Change of Financial Institution forms are due 15 days before the next payment is due. Any overdue balances may be subject to penalties or fees.
The City will cancel FEPP when:
- Two returned payments occur in a year;
- Property is sold;
- Owner is deceased; and/or,
- Bank account is closed.
