Public Hearings

To allow for new development or redevelopment, Council will consider redistricting applications in order to apply new regulations to a site. All property owners have the right to make an application to change their zoning. Anyone who feels they may be affected by the proposal has the right to voice their opinion through the planning process.

Windsor Pointe Stages 3-6 Proposal to Redistrict Lands
Public Hearing for Bylaw C1-20

WSP Inc. on behalf of Landrex Inc. is proposing to redistrict lands in Windsor Pointe Stages 3-6. The lands are located east of West River’s Edge. This proposal redistricts 9.15 ha (22.65 ac) of lands from Urban Reserve (UR) to Comprehensively Planned Residential (RC), Parks and Recreation District (PR), and Public Utility (PU).

The RC District allows for single detached dwellings (single family), semi-detached dwellings (duplex), and multi-attached dwellings (townhouses). This redistricting is in accordance with the approved Westpark Area Structure Plan.
