Public Hearings

To allow for new development or redevelopment, Council will consider redistricting applications in order to apply new regulations to a site. All property owners have the right to make an application to change their zoning. Anyone who feels they may be affected by the proposal has the right to voice their opinion through the planning process.

Proposed Brownfield Tax Exemptions - Bylaw C15-22

Council will consider a bylaw under section 364.1 of the Municipal Government Act to establish tax exemptions to encourage development and redevelopment of brownfield properties in the City’s downtown core.

The Public Hearing for Bylaw C15-22 will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The public session will initiate at 3pm.
