Recent rainfall has increased flows through the City's wastewater system. Residents are encouraged to temporarily reduce non-essential water use where possible, including laundry, long showers, baths, and running dishwashers.
When recreating in our City parks, residents and visitors are also asked to avoid saturated areas until they have had a chance to drain and dry, including:
- Disc golf course
- River Valley trails
- Ross Creek trails
- Sports fields
Please use caution around ponds, creeks, and areas with standing water. Additional rainfall is forecast this weekend, and conditions can change quickly.
