What are Municipal Boards and Committees?
Created by Council under the Municipal Government Act and local bylaws, these groups either advise Council on policies or make decisions in specific areas on its behalf.
Join a City of Fort Saskatchewan board or committee and help shape your community.
Share your perspective, build connections, and contribute to decisions that support Fort Saskatchewan's future. We're looking for residents from a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and interests. Terms begin in January and end on December 31.

Interview: Applicants being considered for appointment may be contacted for an interview. This is an opportunity to discuss your interest in the role and how you can contribute.
Next Steps: Following the interview process, successful applicants will be contacted regarding appointment and onboarding requirements.
Training: No experience is necessary. Depending on the board or committee, training may be provided to help prepare you for your role.
