Created by Council under the Municipal Government Act and local bylaws, these groups either advise Council on policies or make decisions in specific areas on its behalf.

Whether you're interested in urban planning, the river valley, policing, or the library, your skills can help shape Fort Saskatchewan’s future. Terms begin in January and end December 31.

How do I get involved?

Becoming a part of the change is straightforward.

Apply: Choose the board or committee that aligns with your interests and complete the application form.
Submit: Ensure all provided information is accurate and complete and send us your application.

Interview: If your application catches our eye, we’ll contact you to arrange an interview. This is your chance to show how you can contribute to the board or committee.
Follow-Up Meeting: After a successful interview, we’ll schedule a meeting to discuss the next steps.
Training: No experience is necessary. Depending on the board or committee, we may provide training to prepare you for your new role.
