Policing Committee

The Policing Committee is a bridge between residents, the RCMP, and City Council. We work to understand the community’s needs, values and expectations around public safety—and share that feedback directly with the police service. Our goal is to foster open, transparent dialogue about local policing priorities, City enforcement strategies, and community safety initiatives. Whether you have a question, a concern, or just want to hear what’s happening, we invite you to attend a meeting and get involved.

Policing Committee Meetings

When: Third Thursday of each month (no meetings in July or August)
Location: Community Room, RCMP Detachment (200 Town Crest Road, Fort Saskatchewan)
Open to the community portion: 5:00 - 5:30 pm

Residents/locals are invited to attend the first 30 minutes of each meeting during the open to community portion to listen, ask questions, and share feedback.
